Vintage enthusiasts can discover iconic styles of the past at this year’s British Style Collective in association with Alcatel, as the Hemingways’ award-winning vintage festival adds to the citywide event from 7-9 July, newly named as ‘Fine Tuned’.
Founded by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway, the fringe-style event will offer everything from music memorabilia to mid-century decor, classic motors, arts, crafts, time-honoured clothing and accessories, as well as pop-up catwalks and live performances. The historic waterfront setting of Liverpool Albert Dock will play host for Fine Tuned this summer.
With handmade and bespoke items on offer, vintage designer makers among the line-up include Toucan Tango, Aliyah Hussain, Ruth Allen, Tea Party at the Zoo, Light Fandango, Ida & Rudy, Frilly Industries, BiNO Clothing, Lee Walsh and Random Makes. Shoppers can take a moment to satisfy their taste buds at The Jolly Waggoners, The Pulled Swine, Franco’s Salt Beef Co, Little Red Kitchen and other street food vendors within Albert Dock.
Craft lovers can hone their skills in painting, printing and a whole lot more with a series of vintage workshops led by artists and designers, while dance enthusiasts can quickstep their way into a bygone era as professional dancers and performers teach their all-time favourite Charleston moves.
