As part of the Creative Hub collaboration, Racoon gave one student the opportunity to become a 'Racoonista in the making'. Huge congratulations to Danielle Kavanagh who was selected by Cinta Miller and Nikki Gallimore to be part of the styling team for their next fashion show at London's Savoy hotel.

An opportunity arose - I knew this would be challenging but necessary to develop my skill set in this industry.
When asked 'who wants to be on the hair team?' I jumped at the chance. My strengths lie within makeup, so to choose the hair team made sense to me. The day started off with an introduction to Cinta and Nickki representing Racoon International the duo was fresh, exciting, full of zest - I was hooked in an instant.
Leading into practical - I was shown a demo of the hair brief for the fashion show this included; prepping the hair, using Racoon products, techniques, styling tools, how to create length with hair extensions, overall creating a killer sleek pony look! Sounds simple, far from it.
Through out the day - Wow, wow, wow, I was stunned by what I had just watched… I was so quiet, focused I had no idea how much work went into hair until now.
Realisation hit me, I need to incorporate Racoon International training, products and techniques into my life to become a better hair and makeup artist
