The Creative Hub is a new, one day experience for teachers to offer their students this summer. Providing a wider learning experience of the fashion & textile industry and designed for key stage 3-5. Friday July 7, will see a Liverpool city takeover that will inspire, educate and excite young creatives.

Your education experience will include the Creative Hub Imaginations Rooms  and access to the shopping halls at Exhibition Centre Liverpool with a seat in the Echo Arena which will play host to a dramatic 60 minute fashion and dance showcase - The Alcatel Fashion Theatre.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE A

  • Access to Shopping Halls at The Exhibition Centre Liverpool (9:00am - 1:00pm)
  • The Alcatel Fashion Theatre Show: 2.00pm
  • Group access to The Creative Hub (3:00pm - 6:00pm)
  • All day access to St. George's Hall - optional at group leader's discretion

  • Group access to The Creative Hub (9.30am - 12.30pm)
  • Access to the Shopping Halls at The Exhibition Centre Liverpool (1.30pm - 5.30pm)

  • All day access to St. George's Hall - optional at group leader's discretion

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE C (LIMITED)

  • Group access to The Creative Hub (9.30am - 1:00pm)

Introducing the Baltic Triangle Imagination rooms exclusively for teachers & students.

  • RAW CATWALK - Baltic Warehouse

The Raw Catwalk will be hosting Graduate Fashion Week acclaimed Gala show, offering aspiring designers a first hand glimpse of the award- winning 2017 collections. Audiences will also see the workings of the backstage through a bespoke, perspex catwalk design.

  • FASHION_TECH - Camp

What does the future of fashion look like and how has technology changed the landscape of the industry.

  • SKILL OF FASHION - Furnace

Prof Caryn Franklin MBE will hosting an expert panel of industry guests sharing their career path. Hear from River Island, Philip Armstrong, and our very own Alcatel Fashion Theatre director Karl Willett.

  • ILLUSTRATION GARDEN - Constellations

Get involved in the art garden and be part of the recycled imagination room project.

All students will be asked to be editors, journalists and photographers with an invitation to capture, reflect and report on their day. Final articles can be submitted post show to be entered for The Young Journalist of the Year Award 2017.
